ASSOCIATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS
AeA
AeA (formerly the American Electronics Association), is a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents all segments of the technology industry. They lobby governments at the state, federal, and international levels; provide access to capital and business opportunities; and offer select business services and networking programs to small, medium, and large member companies.
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)
ASTM International is a voluntary standards development organization and a trusted source for technical standards for materials, products, systems, and services. ASTM International standards have an important role in the information infrastructure that guides design, manufacturing and trade in the global economy.
ASIS International (ASIS)
ASIS is an organization with worldwide members dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of
security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as publishing of Security Management magazine. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, governmental entities, and the public.
Computer Security Resource Center (CSRC)
The
CSRC is part of the Computer Security Division (CSD) within the
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)'s Information Technology Laboratory and was established to improve information systems security. Their developed standards, metrics, tests and validation programs promote, measure, and validate security in systems and services. This Division is responsible for educating consumers and to establish minimum security requirements for Federal systems.
Environmental Protection Agency - EPA

Federal Electronics Challenge (FEC)
The
FEC is a voluntary partnership program that encourages federal facilities and agencies to purchase greener electronic products, reduce impacts of electronic products during use and manage obsolete electronics in an environmentally safe way.
Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC)
The
FFIEC is a formal interagency body empowered to prescribe uniform principles, standards, and report forms for the federal examination of financial institutions, and to make recommendations to promote uniformity in the supervision of financial institutions.

Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI)

NAID®
NAID® is the international trade association for companies providing information destruction services. Suppliers of products, equipment and services to destruction companies are also eligible for membership. NAID's mission is to promote the information destruction industry and the standards and ethics of its member companies.
New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)
The
New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is a unified major agency that administers aggressive environmental protection and conservation efforts. Their prevention efforts and innovative environmental management strategies encourage electronic recycling and computer monitor recycling in an effort to solve pollution problems in NJ.
New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC)
