(formerly the American Electronics Association), is a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents all segments of the technology industry. American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)
International is a voluntary standards development organization and a trusted source for technical standards for materials, products, systems, and services. ASTM International standards have an important role in the information infrastructure that guides design, manufacturing and trade in the global economy.
ASIS International (ASIS)
is an organization with worldwide members dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals

Computer Security Resource Center (CSRC)
is part of the Computer Security Division (CSD) within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
's Information Technology Laboratory and was established to improve information systems security.
